Unrepeatable and authentic, Seven is a study of the whole person. Single frame portraits, taken with a vintage 5×7 portrait camera and traditional B&W process, that are grounded by handwritten responses to seven common questions. One singular and organic frame, one sheet of film, and seven questions that have reach to stimulate deeper consideration for ourselves and others. An opportunity to look past the barriers of first impression, and perhaps, even a moment to think about our shared human vulnerabilities.
The Questions #1: Name one thing that frightens you? #2: If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? #3: What, or who, inspires you? #4: What is your most used expression or word? #5: What brings you joy? #6: What is your favorite journey? #7: What keeps you awake at night?
